British born performer Rupert Appleyard (aka Phileas Flash) has been capturing hearts worldwide with his brilliant brand of balloon art, charming comedy and crazy magic for twenty years.
Armed only with a little wit, a lot of talent and a big bag of imagination he's traveled all over the globe and amazed audiences everywhere from Iceland to Egypt, Australia to Japan, and everywhere in between.
He has performed for Hollywood celebrities, won international awards, twisted balloons for dukes and duchesses and frequently appears on television in both Canada (where he now lives) and internationally. In 2016 he was approached by American broadcaster AMC to make Walking Dead balloon art for their award-winning image spot "Life imitates AMC"
Rupert is also a talented actor, artistic director and content creator.
In 2017 he created Fairy Finding, a brand new immersive experience that combines elements of treasure hunting, escape rooms and children's theatre with whimsical folklore and story telling.
He has been employed as an artistic consultant on many projects including haunted houses, circuses, children's theatre shows and video projects.
As well as live entertainment Rupert has spent the last few years filming and editing his own video content and looks forward to creating magical virtual experiences for clients everywhere.
